In general, automatic recognition of text/binary files The core editing features are the most appreciated ones, and that's where TC is hard-nosed. For example no one uses ftp/ssh etc, there's plenty of tools for that.

I didn't think that this can be so important for people. total layout customization MyCo has already some layout customization. I guess you want as it is in TotalC which i saw has a lot, but i think most of the people use it as it is with minimal customizations.
