Hi,
I’m trying to connect to a server via SCP, and I get “Connection error!” message popping up. And there is no additional info provided, so how do I debug this? Is there a connection log or something? Right now I have two suspicions, though after thinking it through I don’t think either of these is crucial enough to cause a connection error, but you guys will know better than I:
- I left the “password” field blank in the settings - can this be the reason? Shouldn’t Me Commander ask me for my password every time I try to connect to that server? Or it’ll just try to authenticate with an empty password?
- The remote “home” path is wrong. It’s “/home/”+$USERNAME, but it’s very different in case of that server I’m trying to connect to. This directory does not exist there. And I don’t really see how to change it in My Commander.
