One of the most appreciated features of the old total commander is that it automatically recognizes zipped files so allowing to explore through them seamlessly, as if they were mounted in the filesystem.
This would be very useful as many formats nowadays are encoded in compressed encodings (docx, odp and many more).
Of course, mounting a zip should imply viewing, editing etc.
